happy official release day, book!

It’s been a little confusing, because Untamed has actually been buy-able to buy for a couple of days now, but today it is officially a book! (The staggered availability has to do with global online vendors and availability.)

So far the reactions have been somewhere on the extremes of love and hate, with the occasional thoughtful in-between. I hope you have a read, wherever you end up sitting on that scale! You can find links to buy it on my books page.

It’s been a long journey to this day, and it’s made it so much more interesting and worthwhile to share it with you all. Please have a sexy snippet in celebration!

    Woohoo! Yay, book!

    (she says, coherently)

Congratulations on being officially a Published Author. I’d ask you to autograph my Kobo, but that would probably be a bit messy (and, actually, since it’s sitting in one of your Accidental Housewife covers, it’s pretty much autographed already).

You’ll be glad to know that Ken has once more stepped up to the mark and is ready for his appearance tonight…

    love

Hi, I guess I was one of the first to be able to buy Untamed! It was available on Amazon in UK from 10th.
So I’m finding out a lot about the Duke!
    What’s this about a cake?
    Good luck with the book.

I think it was made available on the 10th to ensure it would definitely be available on the 15th. It’s a kink they’re still ironing out from earlier releases when books weren’t available by the official release date. But all it means for me is that people have been able to read it as they hear about it, which is also good. Thanks for buying a copy :-). (And I hope you’re not too appalled when you read it… Your son only made it about half way through, but then he’s hardly my target audience LOL. He just wanted laser guns.)

Catherine is baking me a cake in celebration, and it’s going to have a Kendoll in a dress on top!

I admire your moxy for linking to conflicting opinions. 🙂 I’m still reading because it’s very rich for my blood — not a criticism, I often take weeks to finish Judith Ivory too. 😉

I guess I want people to be prepared for anything! LOL. I haven’t read any Judith Ivory yet, but am dying to get into Black Silk. I will definitely take the comparison as a huge compliment, whatever your eventual feelings about the book :-).

Every other month or so I go on a total romance novel binge. I devour them like candy and for a couple weeks I go through one every two days (which messes up my sleep schedule to no ridiculous end) so I go through a. lot. of. romance novels. It’s been a long time since I was truly charmed by one and have found my senses kind of dulled to what I can find in historical romance.

I was totally enchanted by your book. I so enjoyed every page that I was only disappointed to find no sequel ready for my instant gratification. I can only say for purely selfish reasons: please keep writing! 🙂

Thank you, Juniper! It’s been quite a process, sending Untamed out into the world, and I can’t tell you how wonderful it is to hear that you loved it. I have just begun working on the next book. I’m not sure I could stop writing, even if I wanted to :-).

I’m so glad you enjoyed Untamed! I’m loving hearing people’s reactions to it. I think as I’m struggling just keeping up with blog content at the moment I’ll have to pass on the Liebster process. But thank you for nominating me :-D. My designer did an amazing job on this site, and I love posting to it!
